Our Tutoring Team

 Ed graduated in 2017 from Trinity Grammar with an ATAR score of 96.65, with five 40+ scores out of his six subjects. He has completed a Bachelor of Commerce at Melbourne University. His area of expertise is English and other writing-based VCE subjects, which has allowed him to gain a thorough understanding of the craft of essay writing. Academic success did not come naturally to him, and as a result he understands the struggle of studying effectively. His tutoring style and philosophy emphasises positivity, empathy, and enjoyment, which he believes is key to academic success in the high pressure environment that is VCE. 

Tom graduated from Christian Brothers College St Kilda in 2021 as an A grade student in both year 12 VCE History (Revolutions) and Literature, along with obtaining various awards such as the prestigious CBC Morris West writing award in 2020 and excellence in student performance in 2019. Tom’s tutoring style can be best described as engaging and versatile, allowing for a dynamic and accommodating range of qualities to cater to each of his individual students' needs. Furthermore he has been described as being extremely patient, gentle-mannered and passionate about history and literature.

Tom studies at University of Melbourne furthering his interests by studying a Bachelor of Arts majoring in history, currently in his second year.

Agamjot graduated in 2023 from Suzanne Cory High School who achieved a 99.10 ATAR and 47 raw study score in Accounting in 2023. He ran multiple study groups throughout 2022 and 2023, helping some of the highest achieving students at SCHS achieve their scores. He has hundreds of hours of tutoring experience and proven success with students, with all students attaining study scores above 43.

He currently studies a Bachelor of Science at University of Melbourne.

Oliver graduated in 2019 from Trinity Grammar, achieving an ATAR of 97.80 and a raw 40 subject score in Economics and now has a passion for helping others achieve their goals. He has a Commerce degree with first class honours from the University of Melbourne in Economics and has a great intuition for all aspects of the VCE Economics curriculum. He understands the struggles and pitfalls of studying Economics and how to overcome them. 

He currently studies a Master of Software Engineering at the University of Melbourne.

  Chantelle graduated in 2022 from MacRobertson Girls' High School received an ATAR of 99.10 with a raw 48 score in VCE Economics. Chantelle also received the Dux award in Biology,. Chantelle enjoys teaching in an interactive style, asking questions to ensure students are engaged and to help build a strong and friendly student-tutor relationship. 

 She currently studies the Bachelor of Medical Studies/Doctor of Medicine at UNSW 

 Hanah graduated in 2023 from Mount Scopus Memorial College. She received the VCE English as a Second Language award and a scaled score of 47, graduating as rank one in her cohort as a straight A+ student throughout units 1/2 and 3/4. She also achieved a raw 45 in Health and Human Development and was one of the top students in a competitive cohort. Throughout year 12, she ran tutoring sessions for English and has become familiar with the new study design. 

Milo completed an undergraduate Arts degree with a double major in History and Philosophy, specialising in Ancient Civilisations. He is currently in the final year of his Master of Teaching, focusing on History, averaging a weighted average mark (WAM) of 98. Milo has completed several teaching placements teaching “Ancient History” including being selected by Monash University to travel to Italy, teaching within a renowned high school, Ancient History & Philosophy to students. 

His teaching philosophy involves supporting what students learn in their classroom, augmenting their writing and thinking skills with the aim of having them feel prepared and unstressed after each session.

 Florian graduated from St Kevin's College in 2023 receiving an ATAR of 97.15, with study scores of 45 in English, 44 in History Revolutions, 40 in Geography, as well as 43 in Global Politics, for which he was Dux. Florian is currently completing a double degree of Law (Honours) and Global Studies, majoring in International Relations at Monash University. He has experience with both paid and volunteer tutoring, and has an interest in helping students explore the intricacies of humanities and literacy, whilst also delivering excellent academic results. 

Eliz has recently graduated from a Master of Arts in Writing and Literature from Deakin University. She is a passionate writer and mentor, having taught creative writing extensively to small classes of students. She loves to write in the magical realism genre and is currently writing her first novel. Eliz also loves to spend her days reading next to her grumpy cat Zelda, being in nature and taking long hikes. 

Ellis graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Canberra and tutors the subject at a high school level. He believes psychology is incredibly relevant to everyday life and aims to break down complex terms in a simple fashion. When teaching he also likes to use analogies to break concepts down into simpler ideas. He adapts his tutoring style to fit the individual needs of each student.

Mina graduated from Mercy College in 2020 with an ATAR of 99.40 She received study scores of 49 in Legal Studies, 49 in English (EAL), 46 in Psychology, 41 in Chemistry and 40 in Biology. She loves facing new challenges and helping students tap into their true potential by helping them develop a more in-depth understanding of the content and directing their attention to finer details that can maximise their performance and showcase their hard work.

 Hugo has a number of years experience in a wide array of tutoring roles - including English, chess and study skills. He has worked with high school students to improve their outcomes across all of these domains and achieved fantastic results. With a Bachelor of Commerce and Diplomas in Computing and Spanish, Hugo focuses on practical strategies tailored to each student’s needs, helping them build effective study habits and improve academic performance. 

Mia graduated from John Monash Science School in 2023, as an A-grade student in VCE literature and geography. She is completing a double degree in Science and Global Studies at Monash University, specialising in International Relations and Environmental Science.

Mia enjoys working with students so that they can understand their learning style, and how they can see the most improvement. She ensures that students are engaged and can relate to what they are learning so that they can understand the topics on a deeper, conceptual level. Mia has experience teaching various age groups, from younger primary to VCE. 

Sayumi is currently studying Bachelor of Law (Honours) and Bachelor of Science, majoring in psychology  at Monash University. She graduated from Haileybury Girls College in 2022 and received a study score of 49 in English and 44 in psychology. She prioritises adapting her tutoring style to each student and focuses on providing an in-depth understanding that is tailored to the exam structure so students can achieve the best results.  

 Isha is a mathematics tutor for Year 7 to 10 students and is currently studying a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Psychology. This background helps Isha take a holistic approach to tutoring, focusing on both academic understanding and effective note-making skills for better retention. Known for a patient teaching style, Isha helps students confidently grasp maths concepts. 

Aidan graduated from St Kevin's College in 2022 and is excited at the prospect of helping other VCE students achieve their goals. He looks to impart upon you the crucial skills and knowledge that he learnt during  his studies so that you are prepared and feel confident going into SACs and exams. The subjects he tutors are English, French, Legal Studies, Psychology, and History: Revolutions.  He believes in a bilateral approach to tutoring; He will call on you to give answers and contribute to discussions rather than simply lecturing you on the content. He knows this creates the best results, as the best way to understand something is to explain it to somebody. He looks forward to  meeting you!
